re:Hallelujah war story

I am thankful that you were not seriously hurt. If someone had found ME,
I keep a human first aid kit in my van, as grandchildren often need
bandaids. You should have looked me up. I only looked like I was brain
dead. (That didn't happen until Sunday.) It looks like we will be
sending slightly more than $2,000 to St. Jude's Children's Hospital,
after all the vets, food and miscellaneous expenses are paid, and a
couple of people have advised me they are going to make additional
donations, so don't send the money to St. Judes this week. looks
like we were a success.

I want to thank everyone who attended the ride, crewed, or volunteered.
We could not have done it without you. I would like to say that the
Fairfield County rescue squad is in danger of losing some of their
funding, and letters to the Fairfield County Council from folks who
attended the ride may help the Rescue Squad keep going. It was a
blessing to have them there. This year we were blessed. One year we had
one person break a collarbone, and another break her wrist. That was the
year that Valerie Kanavy's helmet got smashed. It was also the year the
Rescue Squad realized they might be needed at the ride. Being such a
small town, writing to the Fairfield County Council c/o the Town of
Ridgeway will get it there. I appreciate your help.

God Bless you.
Remember Proverbs 21:31"The horse is prapared against the day of battle,
but safety is of the Lord."
