In many parts of the country these ideas aren't anything new. Here in 
the Central Region most of our rides loop back to camp.(We don't have 
really huge undeveloped areas to ride in.) Occasionally a 100 mile ride 
will have a 20 mile loop, but not often. The 50's always have 2 or even 
3 checks.
