Aussie Saddles

Being an Aussie and having poley saddles myself I would like to address
Angie and Lynne's letters. Lynne is correct. Your thigh should not touch
the poley, the only reason I can think of that it does is a) rising too high
out of the saddle or b) stirrups are too short. I thin it is only a hand
between the poley and thigh but I guess the more room the better. Whatever
feels comfortable to you.

I use these saddles on all young inexperienced horses. It gives me added
security and them the heavier weight. When they have matured slightly then
I progress to my Wintec All Purpose. By the way I also jump and muster in
poleys.
