Re: Please help save our horses!!!!



It seems that we have several issues going on here, and yes, it does 
have something to do with endurance.  One issue is the fear of our 
beloved horses being horsenapped and sold to the killers.  Another is 
the issue of humane handling en route to the killing fields and humane 
slaughter after they get there.  I confess to being a meat eater, and I 
am frankly more concerned that animals be dealt with humanely while they 
are alive than what happens to them after they die.  FYI, I understand 
that the dog food folks are not the largest consumer of horsemeat, but 
in fact that the market in Europe is what keeps the killers in 
business.Does anyone know??
