Re: Why do dogs...

Do you live with me and I just don't know it? How about the ATM card that
you think is good because you deposited your money that night and it didn't
post til the next day and you try to withdraw the money just to get some
dinner, gas and go home. Then end up writing a check if they will take one
because it takes a day for it to post.

Thank God that the feed store gives me credit before payday because the
horse needs grain before I need groceries.

And you buy a load of hay, the tarp blows off and rain ruins half of it.
You try to cover it and your work clothes look like you were out with the
PG & E linemen all night. The staff at work thinks you do marijuana because
the alfalfa leaves are stuck to your.....

Yes, the cat barfs, the dog leaves hair all over your sofa, and you still
let them in, even share your bed with them, somehow, on a cold night, the
cat (you feel little ears next to you instead of big ones) even braves the
dogs to sleep with you.

Your horses slip their latches in the middle of the night and your neighbor
calls at 3 a.m. to let you know they are on their lawn.
You don't hurry, just put on mud boots, coat, hat, halter and grain in
bucket. As soon as you find them, they follow you home.

No wonder we all go to bed early and spend what little waking hours we have
left sharing this with the only ones who understand.
