Re: Fox Tails



Fox tail is easy to spot.  They are shinny looking and will be found on the
tip of the grass.  A fox tail can continue to fill out or top out after being
picket or baled.  No amount of spray seems to kill them but burning does get
them.  They float on the wind and are feathery and light.  They have barbs on
them like porcupine quills and once they have worked their way in they just
keep going.  In cats and dogs as well as any other animal or human they can
cause lots of trouble.  A bale of hay with foxtail will look furry.  Burn it
