LOL!!  My best memory of my "kid crew" is when I came into Robinson Flat at 
about 10:30 a.m. and my then 9 year old son was absolutely ecstatic and 
yelling "You're winning, Mom, you're winning!!!"  the other riders around me 
were totally cool and didn't actually laugh at him (when he was watching).  
Later that day though a couple of 'em asked me if I was "still winning".  He 
still thinks that was a winning pace....I shoulda just kept it up (gotta love 
those kid crews).  Also, I can relate Angie ...one year at the Tevis it was 
so hot that my youngest son (the one who thought I was winning) had mild heat 
stroke.  Everybody was so busy sponging HIM down and catering to him (which 
was appropriate) that I pretty much crewed for myself at that stop (Michigan 
Bluff).  There is more video tape of him talking about how miserable he felt 
than there was of me and Harca!
