Beats me. My little guy, Jordan, was used as a hunter for several seasons. He 
is small..only 14.3..but when the dogs start baying he acts as if he's 17 
hands and is a real handful to hold back from the front of the pack!! 

And if he's gaited...well, I sure in hell can't see it. 

I think those people are handing your daughter a bunch of hooey. Gaited, my 
butt. Just sounds like more of your everyday "Anti-Arabian bias".
