One of the most exciting classes I ever saw was at the Cow Palace in San 
Francisco when Sheila Varian rode her Witez II daughter Ronteza in the 
cutting horse class and beat out ALL the QHs.  It was something to see!  
Sheila is a phenomenal trainer and she had a great little mare.  I have a 
Koszar daughter (Witez II great-granddaughter) who is making a fair ranch 
horse right now.  Our ranch hand uses her to gather cattle and she's pretty 
handy rounding up confused and flighty little calves who have misplaced their 
mothers.
