I haven't read but some of these posts, as I've just been tooo 
busy.....however, I'm glad to see that people still like this motto.
Speaking for myself, who has suffered arthritis pretty bad since age 19, (I'm 
50something now), and for the fact, I've only owned "regular" type horses, ) 
this motto is what made me love the sport. I always new I would never come in 
first, or even top 10 for that matter.........(I'm realistic) but boy, the 
exhilerance and joy I felt just to finish..what a personal feeling of 
accomplishment....for me that was every bit as challenging and rewarding as 
winning. 
For those of you who do not understand this feeling, well.........maybe 
someday you will.
