Re: RC: Re: Bread

My husband works for a bread company. He brings home leftover or "damaged"
bread all the time. I do feed it to the horses . . . I just hand it to them
one slice at a time. They love it. I never give them too much at any one
time as I either read somewhere or a veterinarian told me (forget which) that
horses can have trouble with the simple starches in bread, if fed too much?
Something like that . . .

should tear it up into small pieces? >>

Sounds safe enough. And yes, it might not hurt to tear it into pieces, but
I'd be careful not to tear it too small so that they might choke on it if
 they wolf it down.
