Re: RC: trucks: Poor Dodge service - VERY LONG
Geez Teddy. YOu ought to publish that one.. I had no idea they were that
bad! (The dealers that is)... I don't give ANY dealer the time of day if
they won't talk to me about my vehicle. BTW I haul my horses around with
a 1990 F150 Lariat XLT V8 ( I know it has at least a 350 engine if not a
400) 4x4 and after almost 100K miles, we really haven't had any serious
problems other than sometimes the electrical systems are a little funky
when the trailer is acting up, and we needed a new starter which was
causing the truck to stall shortly after starting it (believe it or not!)
and one time the belt was getting frayed. I have hauled up to 6 Arabs at
a time (at least 3 full grown) with a 2000 lb trailer up and down I-95.
It will only go 60 miles an hour unless we are going downhill, but I have
to say that it's been a great workhorse and shows no signs of stopping.
Not the best truck I could get, but for the 11K we paid for it with only
40K miles on it, not a bad deal if you ask me. :) And it has power
everything plus AC and nice seats.
WV can be a little scary, and we go slow up the mountains, but it's never
flat out quit on me...
Gwen (who is really wishing she can get a bigger truck someday).
