We have pulled a loaded 3 horse slant with a '99 Dodge Cummins Diesel
through several mountain passes (higher than 10,000 ft.) and never have run
out of power.  Gas mileage is good even at that.  :-)  It's WAY worth the
extra $4k for the diesel engine.
