FEI Certified vets/judges

Ok, two people from the U.S., one vet and one steward were certified
internationally for FEI operations this year, in when? October?. When is
the next opportunity for U.S. representatives to be certified
(promoted)? And where will the sport be at that point in time? In 6
months? In 12 months? or in 24 months, 2 years?

Let's look at the number of endurance rides occuring in every country
and also look at the amount of representation these countries have in
FEI or better said "World Competition" events or for their structuring,
judging and control. And in two years what will have occured and where
will we be?

I believe that we should have at least 4 vets and 4 stewards or more
certified and representing the U.S. each year, even if this means
adjusting our definitions of what is a FEI certified ride in the U.S.
Why aren't any/all of our AERC sanctioned rides also considered an FEI
level ride? Are we not taking good enough care of the horse or rider or
vet? Or is it that we are not SPENDING enough money on the event?

Food for thought and the Convention....
