Bad News
I have to make a really hard decision this weekend. The horse I talked about
earlier has now been x-rayed and I have a horse that has a rotated pedal
bone. She has founder and a crack from the wall to the pedal bone. The
pedal bone seems to be also degenerating and any pounding could fracture the
front of it off. I can't decide wether to do the humane thing or try to
breed her. The vet said she would be okay for breeding.
This is the bad side of having ex-racers. What does everyone think?
A very distressed and upset,
Donna P.
