spooky creatures

 My neighbors and good friends are friends with a family who are in the circus, and they use our neighborhood as a stopover for their travels around the country.  One brother has bears, and it is not uncommon for him to be training them in the front yard as I ride by, or stop to pick my friend up to ride.  I have encountered lions and tigers in a semi trailer, there, and chimpanzees - both of which make a huge amount of noise at times - sometimes we can hear the lions a mile away at our house.  This fall they had elephants in the yard for a few days.  It really gets my poor endurance horse's heart racing to smell and hear these animals.  Sometimes he bravely trots by, without batting an eye, but his heart monitor goes up for the whole stretch of road!
