Hi Linda,
I wish you lived near me. I am always looking for someone to ride with. Just
a word of caution. I have learned the hard way not to let just anyone ride
my horses. They are sensitive, well trained horses. I have put a lot of time
and training in to make them this way and they deserve to be treated with
sensitivity. I will never let someone ride my horses until I have seen them
ride. They don't need someone (although well meaning) who is always in their
mouth or who bounces on them like a sack of potatoes. Just because someone
likes to ride, it does not mean that they know how to ride or have taken the
time to learn how to be good to the horse. Horsemanship is much more than
mere desire. Hope you find a riding partner or two (or three)
