Stirrups

Hi Kelli....sorry for the blank post, sometimes my mouse bolts!

I have terrible feet and my left knee also bothers me if everything
isn't perfect when riding. I'm also a safety nut and ride English.
Way back, I purchased a pair of Peacock Stirrups and found the
elastic had a little "give" to it that was beneficial to my feet and
especially my knee. About two years ago, I purchased a pair of
hinged english stirrups for dressage and once I got used to them
(they flex both ways....forward and back), I started using them for
training rides because they are so easy on my feet and knees. This
stirrup is now available flexing in just one direction (heels down),
which has to be an improvement.

I just happen to have my State Line Tack Catalog here at work ; ).
They have the Korsteel Flex II (C1-732738) for $44.90/pr.
(I got mine on sale for around $32, different brand, two years ago).
The Peacock Irons are $23.70/pr...does not include pads.
I also have the EZRide on my western saddle, but my knee bothers
me on longer rides, although it is probably because I haven't used
the saddle enough for it to be really broken in properly. I
haven't tried them on my English saddle because they aren't angled
and they're kind of ugly.
