tying

Just a short personal experience about tying for farrier, vet, etc. My
older arab gelding is great to shoe when I hold him, he also ties very
well when on a ride, etc. One day I could not be there when the farrier
arrived, he knew the horse and said he didn't think it would be a
problem. Well after the horse pulled back the second time and broke the
halter, he just let the horse stand in the aisle of the barn with a
different halter on and a lead rope hanging down and not tied. The
horse was a perfect gentleman for the rest of the shoeing. I never
would have thought this horse would have been a problem, I also would
not have thought that he would ground tie. go figure. Louise WV
