The cat thing....

Agreed!
And while 'fixing' them is essential, I think that they would prefer the
chance to live, even if outside, than be killed at the animal shelter
without ever living. Not that they'd know - they're cats - but some life is
better than none, if that 'some' is enjoyable.

But this isn't applicable in the city, methinks. I would not allow a cat to
roam free in a densely populated area - too many wackos.

And I really don't give a hoot about how many songbirds they supposedly
kill. Mine kill rodents, never seen a bird fall to them yet, and if one
does, call that survival of the fittest, eh? That arguement is vastly
misplaced and ill-informed {can you say 'propaganda'?}

Feces are natural, if unpleasant. Cats are very fastidious and when allowed
outside, they are much more hygienic than say HORSES {obligitory reference
to horses, trying to keep it somewhat relevent, and failing miserably!}! All
this icky-poo mentality really is making me wonder if humans are becoming
THAT whiney and intolerant of natural functions....we've always been silly
about procreation, now we feel the need to regulate scat. YOUR feces are
more detrimental to the enviornment than the cats, get over it....

Laughing in Texas...

& the troupe of ten rescue cats {meaning they were found as dirty, nasty,
parasite ridden little scraps at various flea markets and the like}, one
bottlefed from birth, eight of which are outside cats, two exclusively
indoors. All are fat, sleek, and healthy.
