Re: An idea for LD rides



We have those all the time in the SE - not sure if it makes anyone have
better manners on the trail :) but it sure helps those new to the sport feel
a little more at ease. I think they are a great idea - I thought they were
commonplace throughout AERC - apparently we in the SE are just lucky <g>

I don't think you remember much from your first several ride meetings but at
least when the vets offer to explain things like that you feel that they are
approachable the next day when you're wandering around in a sleep deprived,
slightly confused state trying to remember whether you gate first or hold
first and what the CRI has to do with the BPM and where is that darn vet
card anyway:)
