Absolutely not. With all the Jr's and all the very inexperienced riders
on inexperienced horses starting out in LD's, starting the LD's first
and the front running 50's catching up with them could lead to a real
tragedy.

I think maybe the solution is if you are trying to bring on a new
"endurance green" horse maybe you should stick the to tail end of the
LD's so you won't put yourself into that situation.  As the horse get
more experience that he can better cope with these types of trail
situations.
