A long time ago, a vet told me that he didn't recommend strangles
vaccinations because they were generally ineffective. He thought it was
better just to treat the disease because the worst cases, bastard strangles,
were so rare. Anybody else heard this? Does everyone vaccinate for
strangles? Did the sick horses have strangles?

Also, I know you need a negative Coggins to travel out of state, but some
posts made me think that you had to show your negative Coggins to enter a
ride too. Is that right?
