	I used to think this phenomenon was largely restricted to the sellers of
Arabs. Then I became a DVM and started doing prepurchase exams, and found
it was quite widespread regardless of breed. It was interesting to see the
reactions of the buyers when they read the report which included the
measured height of the horse.
	More interesting to me was the fact that the buyers had seen the horse,
ridden the horse, liked the horse enough to have it vetted, but still got
upset when it was measured shorter than it was supposed to be.
	Sort of like how a measured 25 miles is so much longer than an estimated
one, eh?
