Measuring horses

I have used my body for many, many years to measure the height of horses
and also to measure the height of jumps.(back when I was doing such
foolish things). You can be pretty darn accurate after awhile if you
stand next to enough horses and try to judge the height. But if you can
see the horse as Heidi states you should be able to decide if it is
right for you, as to body build, etc. Actual height accurately would
only make a difference in pony measurements for the different classes,
sm, med, lg. Louise
