Re: blanket advice



Heidi, I bought a lightweight blanket from Stateline Tack about 1 1/2 years 
ago that I really like. I had the same problem with blankets always being to 
wide at the neck, but this one fits nicely without restricting movement. It's 
called the Rug-ED Mountain Cool Weather Sheet with Fleece Liner and I paid 
$50 plus shipping. It's water-resistant but leightweight, and I like the 
fleecy inside cuz it's warm but not bulky. Perfect for cold winter nights in 
the California desert. Got a size 74 for my 14.2h guys. Only drawback: the 
outer nylon shell is pretty thin and not meant for "excessive" outdoor 
activity, like rub-butt-on-oak-tree....<g>. But if you're just gonna use it 
in camp, it'll work well.
