Wanna know what I enjoy best about ridecamp?  After a little bit of
"bashing" in which I sometimes take part, I make some really neat friends
(you know who you are) who reply privately with words of encouragement.  I
bet other ridecampers have experienced the same thing.  No one griped about
Susan and Tom's "bashing" episodes (take that back...I did at first, until
I could see they were enjoying themselves).  I think brief little episodes
of "bashing" (if that is the term of preference) about whatever endurance
issue we choose is what ridecamp is all about and a little difference of
opinion doesn't hurt a thing.   We have a little fun tossing around some
words, hopefully learn a little bit about each other's viewpoints and
perspectives and go on to the next topic that crops up.  When something
comes up that doesn't interest me, I use the delete button.
