Our oldest daughter (16) thinks she might try an endurance ride next year. 
I let her ride Jonathan yesterday while I rode the stallion on our little
20 mile jaunt.  She is having 2nd thoughts.  We stopped at about 8 miles
for a break and again at about 13 (after we went up Ol' Baldy) so the
horses could drink.  She thought we could just lope the rest of the way
home....to get home faster.  I wouldn't let her.  She has to learn to post.
 She is having 3rd thoughts now!  Poor kid.
