Do you think you could put manure in the tire BEFORE you put the plastic
barrel in it and get some heat from the composting manure?

The black tire soaks up heat and also insulates the barrel. Works pretty
good except when it gets really cold. It would probably work better in
climates with more sun than sw oregon.
