CTR VET-IN

Today, as some of you know, we did the Hartland Riding
Club 14 mile CTR. Other than the pouring rain, wind and
cold, it was an easy ride. We walked at least half of it including
the last five miles to come in just over the minimum time
of two hours fifteen minutes.

Meshack was not at all tired, but the judges noticed a "difference"
in the trot out between "in" and "out". I in the past I've gotten comments
like
"floating" on the "in". I never questioned on longer rides, but
now think I lose points because of it. He's not at all nervous,
and probably more "normal" on the trot-out.

Other than riding twenty miles BEFORE vet-in, can anyone
suggest what we might do differently.
