Thank You!

Howdy All! I have gotten some awsome feed back from
everyone. I'm looking into all your suggestions, and
don't worry, I'm always very cautious when it comes to
safety. In 4-H, as a young child, mom forced me to
wear a helmet, by 12 years, she said it was my choice,
I never stopped. I also have a back up horse to ride,
my best friend, if Thunder is too hot. We have some
really good trainers here in Oregon, so I'm looking!
About the saddle, I'm going for a ride today, so I'm
going to try my mom's saddle instead to see how it
fits. I ride western because at this point I don't
know how well I'd stay on with an English.

The Australian Stock Saddle is really comfortable, and
I rode that for about a year, but when going for long
extended trots, its almost impossible to keep the
prefered standing position. The western still gives me
the security I need, but I can bale if I have to.

I'll keep ya'll posted on how everything is going. I'm
just hoping that he doesn't decide he needs to buck
tonight. Oh by the way, He was on a snaffle for most
of his life, but I recently, about 1 month ago
switched him over to a really really low port curb.
He's done marvelousy responding to it, until our
adventure a week ago. Any comments there?? Again,
thank you for all your help and concern!!
