Most any girth with 2" buckles on either end will fit the DeSoto (I just
got a new one last week and LOVE it too!). I have two wool fleece girths
from Teddy (http://www.runningbear.com/) that I used on my Stonewall, and
they work fine on the DeSoto too. She calls it the "sport girth" I think.
You could probably go to your local tack shop (if you have one) and buy
any Western girth with 2" buckles -- maybe try neoprene? I've never used
it myself, but it seems to be just Perfect for some horses.
