Having been at the Grand Canyon ride, I was impressed with Karen and Thorn as 
well, but even more so when one realizes she is from Idaho, loaded up her 
truck and trailer and ALONE drove down to Arizona, no crew, rode fifty miles 
a day for three days, THEN loaded up her truck and trailer and ALONE drove 
home.
    Maybe the only thing harder than endurance riding is endurance driving.
