Odd question-side-saddle for trails

I'm a curious sort, do any of you out there ever ride side-saddle? And
have any of you done any trail rides in a side-saddle?
I know several people who ride aside, but none of them trail ride at
all, so they are no help.  I know one person who might have done some
trail in a side-saddle, but it may take me awhile to locate her e-mail
addy again, so I thought I'd ask here.
