This is a msg to the person who asked about Sidepulls.  I ride in a combo
Sidpull/Bosal.  I 100% love it.
I to love the free feeling you get, and it is so much easier for my horse
to eat and drink on a CTR.  I have
no trouble with steering, it works just like a snaffel bit.
