This is just a guess... but might it be that she's heat sensitive? The
fleece and neoprene might be holding in the heat too much... try a strand
girth... mohair is the best (and most expensive). You can get them for
english and western saddles. That and they can move and stretch with your
horse, unlike a nylon backed neoprene or fleece girth. I prefer my strand
girths over the only fleece one I own. That is, when I ride in a saddle.....
