Hello Fellow Ride Campers,

My husband (Phil Gardner) is riding the VC 100, trying for his 19th
buckle today, and is in contact with me by cell phone so I thought I'd
report in what I know so far.  (By the way, I'd be there crewing but
broke my leg in a freak accident giving the horse a last tune up ride on

Wednesday)

Anyway,  I guess it rained some last night and Phil put the horse (did I

mention that he's riding MY horse) in the trailer to keep him dry.  The
weather is cloudy and warm this morning.  Phil is riding with Wendy
Lumbert (hope I spelled that right) and they've left the first vet check

in about 11th place.  Phil's heard that Cliff Lewis is in the lead.

If I can hobble over to the computer later, I'll fill you all in on the
latest and if anyone else knows what's going on, I'd love to hear.
