I have always interpreted "Wet saddle blankets"  as a term meaning LOTS of 
training, lots of time in the saddle. As in, working on the horses all the 
time.  Do you concur? or could you expand on your definition of " 
fire-breathing, life-taking Equinesaurus" ?
