Once about, well several years ago when I read about Boggs extreme abuse
that was documented in a lawsuit in Arizona, I wrote, complaining to the
IAHA because they featured him in their magazine article. I asked why if he
was suspended or suspected of such outrageous acts that they would recognize
and respect him for ANYTHING in the Arabian world.
They had a "pat" answer that took them out of the loop...they were not in
the business of judging character or actions. They were merely allowing
everyone equally to be published in their publication.  
He has full throttle to do whatever he wants.  

But remember that people  talk about us, "Endurance Riders" or those who
ride unconditioned horses to the finish without sparing them -- for the
buckle!! OR Award or whatever.  We must also be vigilant lest we fall into
the same conduct as our erring colleagues who show these beautiful animals
in competition.  Unfortunately, among the good competitors in each sport the
bad apples get more attention than the good ones.
