Re: Which Myler bits?



The best way to choose the right bit is to get the book (around $11.00?),
and read about the different mouthpieces and the concerns they address.
There's also a brochure, which is free, but not quite as complete.  If you
are a purist dressage person, these bits will not be your cup of tea, nor
permissible in the dressage arena.  Then again, they are not a quick fix,
either, just different.  None are severe mouthpieces.  I've used five
different mouthpieces on three different horses.  Prior to the Mylers, I
used a plain snaffle, usually a "D" ring.
