IMHO I would think it wise to take him to some other outings, schooling show
ect. where he will be tied to the trailer and get used to other horses coming
and going.  When you do go to a ride it would be good for him to have a buddy
that he is used to to be nearby.  Also try to get a spot as far away from all
the activity as possible.  I did ride my stallion on a coupple of rides, he was
a show horse and was use to all the hubub and I had no problems, most people did
not know he was a stallion.
