Horse or House Transportation?

Which do you want--Horse or House. I have actually done a little of both
lately.

If it is horses, the three I shipped from Edmonton, Canada averaged about
$500 each to Price, Utah. That is a distance of about 1800 miles. One of
them traded me horses and delivered CC from Utah to Auburn, California area
for $200 more.

That sure was a lot cheaper than picking her up. Hubby and I drove from Utah
to California on labor day weekend. I quit recording gas mileage at 93
gallons, some of which were $2 gallons and we weren't even there yet. Had
to spend three nights in hotels in Nevada so as to make the trip pleasant
instead of miserable for man and horse. Add in the great Bask meals and a
few hands of Black jack and a stop at the Capriola Saddle Company in Elko
and you get a record setting transportion bill. The professionals are
really cheaper but I think CC would say the family is more fun.
