uphill backing and Tom Dorrance

Chelle wrote about teaching horse collection through backing uphill. That's an old Tom Dorrance method. Funny because he was on Horseworld this morning. Outdoor Life channel 8am weekdays pacific time. I train dressage with Kathy Everman and it is great for teaching your distance horse to use itself better besides if he goes sideways easily you might miss some of the knee knockers.
