Do both of you agree that two of the horses are malnourished? If not, can you consult with your local humane society? It would seem to me that malnourished is neglected which is abusive. If you do both agree, maybe she needs to compensate you for the amount of extra feed you need to give to bring the other two up to speed. Also, can you pull the malnourished horses in for part of the day and out part to try to get some benefits from both? Maybe have the thin ones in while the others are playing and out when the others are eating or something. Good luck and be careful. Dyane N.
