I agree.  I have a horse, Suni, that I would clone in a heartbeat if I had
the money, BUT the odds are I would never really have the same horse.  In
some ways he'd be better, because I have learned more over the years, but in
some ways I could never give the clone what Suni had growing up.  I always
thought a lot of distance riding was what you could do to improve your horse
(always good to start with an athletic foal with a good mind, of course0,
but I looked on distance riding as somewhat like dressage, good for
improving any horse.
