Hank Cook?

Does anyone know whatever became of Hank Cook, the vet who used to work the 
California and Nevada rides back in the 70's and 80's?  He was sure fun to 
be around and had some great stories!  I think I'd heard somewhere that he 
might have been seen at the tracks in Florida, but I'm not sure.
