drugs

I used to take Ibuprofen - and NOT drink well on trail. The
dehydration/kidney failure has put me off taking any kind of pain
relieving medications. What I have found to work much better is a good
anti-oxidant (grapeseed extract) and a calcium/magnesium supplement that
also contains Vitamin D and silicon. I have done a one-rat study (not
taking anything - taking the above) in 50 mile competition and found
that there is a HUGE difference. In other words, I couldn't even look
after my horse after the ride on the "placebo" ride, whereas I was
jogging around camp like a lunatic after the "control" ride!

I'm off to volunteer for Pan Am - if anyone would like more information
on the regime that I take, I'll be answering e-mails starting Monday.
