alsike clover



What is this about alsike clover?  Is this a different clover than your 3
leaf clover found all over the ground which the horse's just die for?  It
has a small round white/pinkish small flowers bloom.  It would be the same
clover that  if you found 4 leaves on one then you will have good luck..

Poisonous Plants of the United States (Walter Conrad Muenscher) says
that alsike clover produces dermatitis in a "few susceptible
individuals", and photosensitization as well.  Doesn't mention blisters
in the mouth.  Lif
