I don't know about other parts of the country but down here there are
plenty of good Arabs that come off the track and end up in the
auctions.  These are the most part good performance horses for
endurance.  They go - those that don't go for fresh meat that is - for
anywhere between $500. and $1000.  I have a neighbor that makes a fair
amount of money, buying these hores putting some miles on them and
selling them and several do quite well.
