I have used johnson's baby shampoo on my horses for the last 20 years.
Never had a problem.
Plus it doesn't burn my eyes when the horse shakes. or flips the soap
around.  And they smell very good after the bath.

But,  I also found that it didn't dry the skin out like a lot of horse
shampoo does.
